Aquila Super Nylgut Ukulele Strings

Super Nylgut strings were developed in Italy by Aquila and are a completely different material to other modern strings like Flurocarbon and Nylon although are a development from the original New Nylgut technology.

Super Nylgut is designed to be less stretchy that the original New Nylgut, which means that when you put a new set on, stable tuning is acheived more quickly. The feel of these strings is very smooth and they have increased durability with resistance to fraying.

Tonaly they have a similar sound to New Nylgut but with a bit more volume.
